Privacy Policy

The only place this website collects personal information directly is the contact form. When you submit it, we receive:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your company name, if you choose to provide it (optional)
• The message you write

We also receive whatever information you choose to include if you email or call us directly.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, browser type and request timestamps. These are used to keep the site secure and available, not to identify individuals.

We use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used:

• Vercel Analytics — aggregated page view and performance data. It sets no cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
• Google Analytics 4 — this does set cookies in your browser (such as _ga) so that repeat visits can be recognised as the same browser, and it collects your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you view. Google anonymises IP addresses before storing them.

We do not run advertising pixels, we do not use this data to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it. If you would rather not be measured, you can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out browser add-on.

• To provide, quote for and administer our services
• To maintain the security, reliability and performance of this site
• To meet legal and regulatory obligations

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not use it for advertising or automated decision-making.

We rely on a small number of third parties to run this site. They process information only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Vercel Inc. — website hosting and aggregated analytics
• Resend — delivery of contact form submissions to our inbox
• Cloudflare, Inc. — domain name services and content delivery
• Google LLC — Google Analytics, as described above

These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to foreign courts, law enforcement and government authorities under the laws of that jurisdiction.

Contact form submissions arrive as email and are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a record of our business relationship, after which they are deleted. Analytics information is aggregated and is not tied to an identifiable individual.

Under PIPEDA you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Withdraw your consent to our use of your information
• Ask us to delete information we no longer need

Email us at contact@bxware.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

This site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we take reasonable safeguards to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Our site may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here.
